Q: When I try to change a file I am unable to because it is owned by the user apache. How can I fix this?
A: Login to Direct Admin and do the following:
- Click on File Manager and locate the files and or folders you need to change.
- Next select the files and then click reset ownership.
- This will change the ownership to your user name, and now you will be able access the file.
